About John P. Pratt

John P. Pratt (Ph.D., astronomy, University of Arizona) spent five decades researching religious chronology and sacred calendars — the Hebrew, Enoch, Sacred Round, Venus, and Mercury calendars and the ways their holy days align with events recorded in scripture and history. His articles appeared in The Ensign, The Planetarian, and Meridian Magazine, and for decades he shared his research freely at johnpratt.com.

John passed away, and this archive preserves his life's work in full so it can continue to be read and studied. Every page of his website is here, word for word, in a clean modern format — including all of his interactive calendar tools, images, and papers. John gave his work freely to everyone, and this archive keeps it that way.
